A long annual splice CBSL itself compiles across every base-year rebasing since independence, specifically to give one continuous read where the ordinary statistical tables only hold the post-rebasing years. Table 7: Central Government Debt, 1950-2025. CONFIRMED the same measure as held DEBT.GOVT.* (exact value match on every instrument, see module docstring) - DEBT.GOVT (1990-2025) is demoted to a mirror in supersede() and this long-run splice becomes canonical over 1950-2025. Column suffixes deliberately match DEBT.GOVT's own suffixes.
