Notes
CBSL table4.04 'Interest Rates - Monthly'. Compared against the Data Library's LK.RATE.AWPR.M: only 79/156 shared months agree (50.6%), so this is evidently a different compilation of the same-named rate, not the same series - both are kept, and the disagreement is logged per period rather than merged (docs/conventions.md's overlap rule). See check().

Source discrepancies

What the warehouse found when it checked this series: the same figure from two agencies, splice overlaps, published rates against ones recalculated from the index, and outliers.

  • Disagrees with itself

This series and the same figure from another source differ over the period they share. Compared with LK.RATE.AWPR.M.

    Two agencies: , difference −0.079.

AWPR: table4.04 vs Data Library LK.RATE.AWPR.M, not merged - 77 of 156 shared months differ by more than max(0.5%, 0.05pp), mean diff -0.079pp, worst +3.550pp in 2022-04.

The Library's monthly figure is confirmed to be the average of its own weekly AWPR readings; table4.04's column does not follow any of the simple rules tried (first week, last week, plain average) on the months where it disagrees, so which compilation is 'right' cannot be established from within the warehouse. Both are kept.
