Compiled by CBSL from the state and commercial banks participating in the cultivation loan schemes (DFCC, HNB, NDB, People's Bank, Pradeshiya Sanwardana Bank, Sampath, SANASA, Seylan, Union Bank, Bank of Ceylon, HDFC, Commercial Bank, State Mortgage & Investment Bank). Loans Granted, Recoveries and Per cent of Recoveries by Paddy/Other Crops/All Crops. Periods: '1991 / 92' through '2003 / 04' are a single crop year, before Yala and Maha were reported separately, and carry no season suffix; '2004 Yala' through '2020/2021 Maha' alternate Yala (dated at its own year) and Maha (a split crop year, dated at its first year per docs/conventions.md); from 2021 CBSL relabels the same two rounds 'Season I' (Yala) and 'Season II' (Maha) without a crop-year split. Each season is its own series rather than folded into one annual figure, since Yala and Maha loans are not interchangeable and 1991-2003's combined figure cannot be split retroactively. 2025 Season II is printed '-' throughout (recovery still in progress) and loads no values; 2025 Season I has real Loans Granted figures (Paddy/Other Crops/All Crops) but its Recoveries and Per cent of Recoveries columns are also '-' and load nothing. Verified: All Crops = Paddy + Other Crops exactly for every measure, season and year (111 rows checked). The table never prints a combined annual figure once Yala/Maha are split, so Maha + Yala cannot be checked against a published annual total the way 1.20's district rows can; summed anyway for 2004-2020 (both rounds published) they are of a believable order of magnitude relative to the pre-2004 combined figures.
