What the warehouse found when it checked this series: the same figure from two agencies, splice overlaps, published rates against ones recalculated from the index, and outliers.
- Disagrees with itself18 Jun 2020
The report of 18 Jun 2020 gives the previous day's price as 73; that day's own report gave 75.
Price previous: 75 and 73, difference 0.027.
CBSL/downloads/Statistics/Economic Indicators/Price Report/2020/price_report_20200618_e - Daily Price Report - 18 June 2020.pdf: previous-day column = 73.0, but 2020-06-17's own figure = 75.0 (2.7% apart)
The report's 'yesterday' column differs from the previous report's 'today' on 0.2% of comparisons in 2021-2026 (364 of 209,923) and 1.1% in 2019-2020 (357 of 33,249, clustered in a few reports whose 'yesterday' column restates a different day): CBSL correcting a price the next day, or a typo in one of the two. Which is right is not known; the observation is each day's own 'today'.
