What the warehouse found when it checked this series: the same figure from two agencies, splice overlaps, published rates against ones recalculated from the index, and outliers.
- Disagrees with itself15 Sep 2022
The report of 15 Sep 2022 gives the previous day's price as 225; that day's own report gave 230.
Price previous: 230 and 225, difference 0.022.
CBSL/downloads/Statistics/Economic Indicators/Price Report/2022/price_report_20220915e - Daily Price Report - 15 September 2022.pdf: previous-report column = 225.0, but 2022-08-12's own Today = 230.0 (2.2% apart)
The report's 'yesterday' column differs from the previous report's 'today' on 0.2% of comparisons in 2021-2026 (364 of 209,923) and 1.1% in 2019-2020 (357 of 33,249, clustered in a few reports whose 'yesterday' column restates a different day): CBSL correcting a price the next day, or a typo in one of the two. Which is right is not known; the observation is each day's own 'today'.
