- Notes
- The month's total purchases and sales of foreign exchange by the Central Bank from commercial banks at market rates (USD mn), from the exchange rate table of CBSL's Weekly Economic Indicators (from August 2013). Each issue prints the latest month, the month before and the same month a year earlier; every reading is kept as a vintage, and the latest is shown. A '-' in the table (no transactions) is 0. From February 2026 the figures are on a value-date basis, and the 2025 months those issues print as a year earlier were restated on that basis; earlier months were not. Net purchases are purchases less sales, from the same issue.
