Footnotes in the source: the Greater Colombo area's constituent local-government bodies changed twice within this span (Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha added from 2005; Oyabadaperuwa sub-office excluded in 2007 in the quarterly edition only; Kaduwela Pradeshiya Sabha re-categorised as a Municipal Council from 2011 Q3), so the area is not perfectly constant across the series - kept as published, not adjusted.
