- Notes
- CBSL Annual Economic Review Special Statistical Appendix. A long annual splice CBSL itself compiles across every base-year rebasing since independence, specifically to give one continuous read where the ordinary statistical tables only hold the post-rebasing years. Table 2: National Output. Mostly the SAME concept as the held NA.GDP/NA.GVA families (which run 1970-2025 across several base-year vintages, loaded elsewhere) - loaded here as its own explicit long-run splice, covering 1950-2025 in one continuous series, rather than value-checking 14 columns x 6 base-year segments for an exact match this table's own footnote (a) says will not hold ('the sum of sectoral shares does not add to 100%' for 1950-1958, and each rebasing is a genuinely different number, not a rounding difference). The GDP deflator is CBSL's own spliced series (footnote (d)): 'differs from a series compiled using the current and constant values of GDP' by construction. See check_special_t2 for a plausibility check against held NA.GDP on shared years.
