- Notes
- CBSL Economic and Social Statistics, table 2.30. Compiled by University Grants Commission. University Admissions by Province and District, 2013/14-2023/2024. Periods are academic years (freq A), dated at the first year. Districts sum to their province (verified, 99 province-year checks, 1 failure) and are named '<province> - <district>'; 'Special and Additional Intakes' and 'Total' are their own series, not a child of any province. Known source printing error, kept as printed: 2016/17 North Central is printed as 1,154 though its two districts (Anuradhapura 1,097 + Polonnaruwa 457) sum to 1,554.
