Notes
CBSL table4.01, 'Sectoral Credit' sheet: commercial banks' outstanding loans and advances to the private sector by sector, End-December. 2024 is from the discontinued Quarterly Survey; 2025 from the new Monthly Survey (footnote a) - the two use different compilation methods, so this 2-point series spans a methodology break. Item-level 2025 figures differ from table4.02's own December column by a reclassification between sectors that leaves the Total unchanged (see check()); 'of which,' items are partial, as in the monthly series.

Source discrepancies

What the warehouse found when it checked this series: the same figure from two agencies, splice overlaps, published rates against ones recalculated from the index, and outliers.

  • Disagrees with itself2025

This series reads 1,812,751; the same figure from the other source reads 1,827,885. Compared with LK.MON.SECTORAL_CREDIT.INDUSTRY_CONSTRUCTION.M.

    Two agencies: 1,812,751.272 and 1,827,885.237, difference −15,133.965.

Sectoral credit: table4.01's End-December 2025 figure (published 2026-04-22) differs from table4.02's own December column for the same item (published 2026-08-11) - the sector-level Total still matches exactly, so this is a reclassification between the two publications, not a random revision

    Same table4.01-vs-table4.02 reclassification; Total unaffected.
