Notes
DCS RT_RT.xls, 'Revision Triangle for Quarterly and Annual GDP estimates (Last updated 15th September 2026)'. TRUE vintage mechanism: each column is a real DCS release date (read from the sheet's own Excel-date header), stored as the observation vintage, so the same period accumulates one row per release that reported a growth rate for it - the schema's vintage mechanism exactly as docs/conventions.md describes. Compare with RT_Summary.xls, which gives the same series by NAMED stage instead of by date.

Source discrepancies

What the warehouse found when it checked this series: the same figure from two agencies, splice overlaps, published rates against ones recalculated from the index, and outliers.

  • Two vintages2023 Q4

This series reads 4.35; the same figure from the other source reads 4.49. Compared with LK.NA.REVISIONS.GDP_GROWTH.FIRST_ESTIMATE.Q.

    Two agencies: 4.487 and 4.348, difference 0.139.

    RT_Summary FIRST_ESTIMATE vs RT_RT earliest vintage

RT_Summary First estimate 4.4867 vs RT_RT's earliest AVAILABLE column (2024-03-15) 4.3478 - RT_RT's earliest column already equals RT_Summary's own Final/Latest columns for this row, not its First-estimate column, i.e. RT_RT's table is re-stated wholesale each release rather than preserving the true first-published figure column-by-column for a recently-added quarter. Older, fully-settled quarters (2016-2019) show all RT_Summary stage columns and RT_RT in full agreement, confirming this is a vintage-alignment quirk for recent quarters, not a data error.
